On Sundays we worship together at 10 o’clock.
This autumn we are trying out a new way of worshipping together, drawing on tradition whilst also embracing fresh ways of worshipping and learning. So, when we gather at 10 o’clock on Sundays we sing, engage with the scriptures, drink coffee, share, reflect, pray and celebrate Holy Communion. In the traditional sermon slot we are experimenting with having some biblical teaching and then engaging with the day’s theme through a choice of activities whilst enjoying refreshments:
- ‘One Another’ Groups – discussing in small groups how we live our lives in the light of the Scriptures we are studying
- Quiet Zone – space for individuals to reflect quietly, with Bibles and resources available.
- Creative Zone – opportunity to think and respond creatively through drawing, painting, writing, modelling, etc.
We then regather to share the peace, sing and celebrate Holy Communion.
All ages worship together with children being very welcome and actively encouraged to take their place in our church family life. There is a crèche area available for pre-school children and their parents.
Do join us – we’re a diverse and accepting bunch and you’ll receive a warm and friendly welcome! If you’d like to join us but have questions or anxieties it would help to talk about first, do please get in touch, we’ll be glad to help.
Please note that on some Sundays we may have special services and so the normal service times don’t apply – it is worth checking our Facebook Page for up to date information.
